[ENG] This series of analog photographs was preceded by a continuous process of observing insects. In this case, it is a mantis, which for me is a symbol of death, cruelty but also curiosity. This creature is visually fixed to movement, and it is related to it´s cruelty, which it promotes in the food intake or eating it´s quarry alive. The mantis convinced me that this addiction is existential for them and essentially innocent, which brings a lot of reflections and views.
In this piece of work I am in contrast with mantis through eating and realizing the trivialities of the consumer society. A little critically, a lot more self-critically. My question is: „where is the boundary and imaginary harmony between the caprice and the real existential need of eating?“
In the analogue photographs, I try to visually unite the two forms of food intake and let the thoughts hang in the air: What is morbid? … cruel? … disgusting? … natural? …
The form of the collection contributes to the idea and passes from purity into destruction through a chemical analog process.

[SK] Tejto sérií analógových fotografií predchádzal kontinuálny proces sledovania hmyzu. V tomto prípade ide o modlivku, ktorá je pre mňa symbolom smrti, krutosti ale aj zvedavosti. Tento tvor je vizuálne fixovaný na pohyb, a s tým súvisí aj jeho krutosť, ktorú presadzuje v prijímaní potravy resp. jedenia koristi zaživa. Modlivka ma presvedčila o tom, že táto závislosť je pre ňu existenčná a v podstate nevinná, čo prináša množstvo úvah a pohľadov.
V Diele sa s ňou staviam do kontrastu skrz jedenie a uvedomovanie si malichernosti konzumu spoločnosti. Trochu kriticky, trochu viac sebakriticky. Pýtam sa: „kde je hranica a pomyselný súlad medzi rozmarom a naozajstnou existenčnou potrebou jedenia?“
Na analógových fotografiách sa snažím vizuálne zjednotiť dve podoby prijímania potravy a nechávam visieť vo vzduchu úvahy: Čo je morbídne?… kruté?… nechutné?… prirodzené?… Forma prevedenia kolekcie prispieva ku myšlienke a prechádza z čistoty do deštrukcie a to skrz chemický analógový proces.
